At the heart of the foundation's programmes is the principle that sustainable development requires the participation of all stakeholders. NNF employs the concept of public private partnerships to translate this core principle into concrete projects.

With a special focus on mothers and their under-five children, NNF community health beneficiaries included 46 communities in 12 states of the country. At evaluation, NNF had improved health conditions by providing over 40 wells, 20 drug stores, upgraded 14 health centres, etc.
